Sunday School Classes

  • Buzzy Clayton

    The Buzzy Clayton Sunday School class was founded in the mid-seventies to honor Buzzy Clayton who had recently died. Our class age is around 65 – 85. We have 4 different teachers who rotate teaching responsibilities. We hope to see you soon!

  • Chapel
    The Chapel Class is an adult class; diverse in both perspective and age. We focus on discipleship, and have covered many topics like C.S. Lewis’s “The Problem of Pain” to Christopher Wright’s” Cultivating the Fruits of the Spirit”. Currently, we are studying Max Lucado’s “In the Footsteps of the Savior”. Come join us in the Chapel!

  • Cornerstone
    We are a young adult class that is dedicated to encouraging one another to follow Christ in our hearts. We are self directed in study, with our primary focus on direct reading and study of the scripture more than secondary sources. Our foundational scripture is 1 Peter
    2:4-5. Come and be with us next Sunday!

  • Fellowship
    The Fellowship Sunday School Class is a caring, diverse group made up of adults of all ages (35 years and up), married and singles, male and female. We meet on the second floor of the education building. We use Seedbed One Book Bible Study materials, and we are currently studying the book of Mark.
    Everyone is welcome in the Fellowship Sunday School Class.

  • Friendship
    The Friendship Sunday School Class is about being together and Christians strengthens our faith and comforts us in our time of need and sorrow. Join us!

  • Lighthouse
    This class is a Young Adults Class that strives to be a beacon of hope and strength to our fellow believers. We study the fundamentals of our faith and challenge each other on what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. We strive to treat each other like family where we live life together and never walk alone.

  • Salt & Light
    We are a laid-back group of parents in our mid 30s to 50s in all stages of parenting. We are informal and enjoy fellowship prior to starting our video lessons targeted to applicable life challenges lead by a rotating group of class members. We meet in the Ren Nelson room. We have a spot for you!

Children’s Sunday School

  • The Nursery
    The nursery is for children aged infant through 3 years. Parents can be assured that their little ones will be well taken care of from 8:30-12:30, during both worship services as well as Sunday school. They will also participate in fun, age-appropriate bible lessons and videos that will teach them about Jesus!

  • Pre K – 1st Grade
    Our Pre-K through 1st grade class uses the Simply Loved Sunday school curriculum. Every quarter explores the Old and New Testaments. Your children will journey chronologically through the Bible, and discover friendship with Jesus throughout God’s story. This class meets in the classroom adjacent to the Embrace entrance in the gym.

  • 2nd – 3rd Grades
    Our 2nd-3rd grade class also uses the Simply Loved Sunday school curriculum. Every quarter explores the Old and New Testaments. Journey chronologically through the Bible, and discover friendship with Jesus throughout God’s story. This class meets on the second floor in the Children’s wing.

  • 4th – 5th Grades
    4th and 5th graders are learning to be trackers of faith and truth by studying God’s word. The curriculum is by Seedbed Publishing. Lessons stand solidly on the Bible, present Jesus as part of the Trinity from Genesis through Revelation, and encourage children to accept Jesus as their Savior. This class is located off the second floor great room.

  • Youth (6th-9th Grades)
    The 6th-9th grade class meets in the youth suite on the third floor. This class expands on lessons from “The Thread” curriculum that were discussed the previous Wednesday night. Students will discover the gospel through the “big picture” story in the Bible.

  • Youth (10-12th Grades)
    The 10th-12th grade class also meets in the youth suite on the 3rd floor. Like the 6th-9th grades, this class will expand on lessons from “The Thread” curriculum that were discussed the previous Wednesday night. Students will discover the gospel through the “big picture” story in the Bible.
