Just as worship and bible study are of utmost importance at FMC of New Albany, ministry to those within our congregation and outside our walls is something we actively seek to pursue. Take a look at the various ministries at FMC to see where you can get plugged in for service.
Adult Ministries

Music Ministries

Youth Ministries
FMC is extra active for our area students! Wednesday Nights, Sunday Bible Study, confirmation, Small Groups, Camp (M28), Sports outreach and Organized Recreation are available for grades 7 – 12.
We are excited to invite all students in grades 7–12 to our Youth Sunday School. Every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM Robbie Ray Youth Suite is a place where young people can grow in their faith, connect with each other, and be encouraged in their walk with Christ. Each week, students have the opportunity to share devotionals, dive into the Bible together, spend time in prayer, and break into small groups for Prayer books and Bible Studies. This creates space for meaningful conversations that build friendships to deepening their understanding of God’s Word and connect with their fellow youth. We are especially grateful to Bob Spencer and Joyce Coltharp for their faithful leadership, incredible love for the Lord, and their commitment to guiding our youth on Sunday mornings. Their dedication makes our Sunday School hour a welcoming place where students can grow spiritually.
Children’s Ministries
Wednesday Nights, Sunday Bible Study, Children’s Choir, Vacation Bible School make it great to be a kid at FMC!
For ages 3–4 (potty trained) through 4th grade
Kingdom Kids is a place where children can learn about God, grow in their friendship with Jesus, and discover the incredible story of the Bible. Using the Hands-On Bible curriculum, our children explore the Old and New Testaments through hands-on lessons, everyday objects, and engaging activities—just like Jesus taught using things people could see and understand.
Our Kingdom Kids classes meet upstairs in our Children’s Education Wing and are available for:
- Ages 3–4 (potty trained)
- Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grade
- 3rd & 4th Grade
For 5th & 6th graders
Kingdom 56 is a ministry created specifically for 5th and 6th graders, a place where they can grow in their faith while navigating the real-life challenges of becoming a middle schooler.
Through the Hands-On Bible curriculum, students continue their journey through the Old and New Testaments while learning how God’s Word applies to everyday life. Kingdom 56 gives students a space of their own to build friendships, ask questions, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and discover how their faith can guide them through the challenges they face.
Kingdom 56 meets upstairs in the Ren Nelson Kingdom 56 Classroom.
Don’t forget Mother’s Day Out on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the school year!
College Ministries
Join us on Sunday mornings in Wesley Hall to meet at 10:00 to share a time in fellowship and Bible Study. Be on the look out for “pop-up” events on weekends and holidays when students return home!
Bereavement Ministries
Service throughout our lives is a precious privilege. Serving others when God calls loved ones home, is a crucial ministry of the body of Christ. The Bereavement Team is a special group that helps with funeral and memorial services in our church to ensure families are loved and comforted during this difficult time. Greeter Ministries
The opportunity to make a good first impression usually only happens once! A friendly smile and a hug or a handshake goes a long way. At FMCNA, we are always ready to meet new faces and welcome guests to God’s house! Contact Abby Bright at the church office today to join the Greeter Ministry at the Embrace (9:00) Worship service or at the Traditional (11:00) service! Sign up in the member portal here.
Shut-In Ministries
Ministering to our church family members that are unable to physically attend our church services and events is a critical part of our mission. Call the church office today to join the Shut-In Ministry and find out how you can serve!
